File and Artwork Licence

FL.1Files you send us

1. Files you send us stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to quote, prepare and make your order, make proofs and mockups, keep records and handle reorders.

2. We do not sell, license or make your files for anyone else, and we never put them in our library.

3. Your promises about your files are in T.7 of the Terms of Service. If you use a downloaded or marketplace file, you are responsible for following its licence, including any non-commercial limit.

FL.2Files we create for you: two tiers

Every file we design for you comes under one of two tiers. Your order screen states which. If it does not say, the Standard tier applies. No rights pass in any file we create until the order is paid in full.

FL.3Standard: commercial use

1. You may make the design in any quantity, for as long as you like, and sell the physical items you make from it. You may make it yourself or have any shop make it. You do not need to credit us.

2. OSHiN keeps ownership of the base design and may reuse or license it, including in our file library, but never with your name, logo, trademark, photos, likeness or any other content you supplied.

FL.4Exclusive: you own the design

1. Exclusive is a paid option shown on your order screen.

2. When the order is paid in full, we assign to you all our rights in the delivered design, and we send you a signed assignment for your records. We will not reuse, resell, license or publish it, and it will not appear in our library. Once exclusive, it stays exclusive.

3. Our general methods, know-how and tools stay ours (FL.6).

FL.5What the Standard tier does not allow

You may not resell, share or upload the digital file itself, for example to a file marketplace or model-sharing site. You sell what you make, not the file. Exclusive owners are not limited in this way.

FL.6Working files and our tools

1. We deliver the finished items. Design files are delivered only when your order lists them as a deliverable, in the formats listed there.

2. Our working files (native CAD projects, layered artwork, slicer settings, support setups), templates, jigs, profiles and methods stay ours, unless your order lists them as deliverables.

FL.7Library files

1. Files bought from our library come under the Standard tier. Payment and delivery are handled by Gumroad.

2. A library download received as a reward is for personal use only, as the reward states. Commercial use is available by buying the file.

FL.8Products we design and sell

When you buy a finished product from our store, the item is yours. The design is not: you may not copy or reproduce it.
